Awards and Honors
Jo believes that these awards belong not only to her, they are in recognition and appreciation of everyone who has supported the Foundation, who through their kindness and encouragement, has made the impossible, possible. "Thank You" to each and every one of you.

In 2005 Jo was awarded the Soa Ma Prize, which is presented by the Government of the Liangshan Autonomous Region, to a Foreigner it considers has greatly contributed to the economic and social progress of the disadvantaged people of the region.
 

 

In 2006 Jo received the great honor of being presented with the Jin Ding (Highest Golden) Award by the Governor of Sichuan Province. This is the highest award given by the Provincial Government and was in recognition and appreciation for Jo's support and work amongst the disadvantaged people of Sichuan.
